Drainage, SUDS & Surface Water Storage

 

With an ever changing climate the need to develop sound robust
and sustainable drainage systems is becoming more important
than ever before. The risk of flooding and the lack of spare
capacity in our existing Victorian networks means new or
redeveloped sites will often require means to deal with surface
water run-off. Provision of onsite storage or other methods of
containment are now a regular requirement when developing
sites.
 
Understanding what will be needed normally requires an
assessment of rain fall run off and related discharge volumes.
From such calculations a system of sustainable drainage can
be developed that will not only satisfy the local building authority
