The second of One Healthcare’s development of hospitals to gain a foothold in the private healthcare market, One Hatfield Hospital sat within a tight site on the edge of Hatfield’s residential area. This high end structure featured state-of-the art healthcare facilities within a two-storey steel frame structure. External works and drainage worked in conjunction with each other to provide a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) which saw most of the surface water run-off remain on site through the use of rainwater harvesting and ground infiltration.
