Our role as a Structural Engineer is vital in fully understanding the current structural condition of a building, its load paths and whether it is suitable for conversion and adaption. Before any works are undertaken, an assessment of the property by us can confirm the viability of your project. Projects of this nature require the same Design Team members as a new build, such as Architects, Planners, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, M&E Engineers and Principal Designers. We take a more flexible approach when working with existing buildings in order to overcome any unknown issues which become apparent as the original structure is exposed.
