The Sports Hall and Classroom Facility was completed at Backwell School, Bristol in June 2021. The building contains a new four court sports hall, fitness suite, three state-of-the-art Science laboratories and two spacious classrooms. It replaces the prefabricated temporary classrooms located on the site which date back to the 1980s. Working with Collinson Construction and their in-house Design Team, Sleater & Watson provided Civil and Structural Engineering design services for the steel framed structure and below ground drainage including a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) for the surface water run-off.
